Founded in 1997, Think Together partners with schools to change the odds for kids by providing award-winning programs during and outside the school day. We’re one of California’s largest nonprofits working in school districts from San Diego to San Francisco. JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Program Supervisor Enrichment Instructors will be responsible for providing high quality Enrichment classes, The Enrichment instructor will lead clubs whose emphasis is in various enrichment such as
STEM and VAPA. Working directly with an assigned class of approximately 15-20 students (K-12), Think Together Instructors deliver safe, fun, and dynamic experiences. Instructors act as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. Instructors must have a genuine interest in the growth, development, and provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the students they teach.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide enrichment using curriculum and materials provided by the program.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging that kids want to be in
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and take disciplinary measures when appropriate.
• Engage children and youth by following, implementing, lesson plans.
• Serve as a positive role model in the program through appropriate dress, speech, and attitude.
• Ensure student safety by assisting in set up, break down, and ongoing maintenance to keep the school or community site clean and orderly.
• Participate in staff development activities.
• Maintain accurate paperwork including sign-in/sign-out sheets for each class session.
• Obtain and organize student materials as directed by the Site Program Manager.
• Communicate and collaborate with other after-school staff, classroom teachers, administrators, parents, and community members.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Arrives punctually to meet responsibilities in site start up and assignments.
• Maintains close communication with Site Program Supervisor regarding planned or emergency absences.
• Maintains clean classroom and facility space.
• Maintains highest degree of confidentiality in staff, student, and volunteer matters.
• Complies with Think Together, school district, and school site policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Additionally, 48 college semester or 60 college quarter units required and/or by passing an Instructional Aide Test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.
• Minimum age of 22
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting) • TB Test
