Work Environment

This position is a fully remote role, allowing you the flexibility to maintain a work-life balance while serving clients across Lancaster, California, and beyond. Our outpatient office format enables counselors to engage with clients through live virtual sessions, employing both advanced technology and compassionate interaction. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct therapy sessions for adults via digital platforms, adapting your approach to meet the varying emotional and psychological needs of clients.
• Employ assessment tools to evaluate patient progress, ensuring treatment plans are both effective and responsive through regular reviews.
• Complete clinical documentation efficiently using our therapist-friendly software, which is designed to reduce administrative burdens while maintaining compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership for guidance and strategic consultation, contributing to organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will involve working with adults grappling with an array of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances. Our clients often require urgent attention, and your expertise will be vital in providing timely therapeutic interventions that lead to meaningful improvements in their lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC).
• An active and valid license to practice independently in California; additional state licenses would be advantageous.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in counseling or therapy, with at least one year focused on independent practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), especially designed for treating adult populations.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience using digital platforms for therapy and a progressive approach to integrating technology into therapeutic practices will be highly regarded. Experience with various assessment tools and treatment planning strategies is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
