  • Understanding of fiber content and performance characteristics (e.g., cotton, polyester, viscose, blends, stretch fabrics)
  • Familiarity with fabric development processes: strike-offs, lab dips, hand looms, and bulk production
  • Ability to interpret and act on fabric test reports (colorfastness, shrinkage, pilling, tensile strength, etc.)
  • Experience with color matching and shade control across dye lots
  • Knowledge of fabric costing, consumption, and yield optimization
  • Experience working with mills and understanding production lead times and constraints
  • Proficiency in PLM systems and fabric library management tools
  • Understanding of quality control standards and inspection processes
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices (preferred): eco-friendly fabrics, certifications, and compliance standards

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple developments simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented mindset, particularly in quality control, documentation, and approvals

  • Problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-driven approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond and adapt to client needs
  • Team player with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Analytical thinking for cost reduction and process improvement
