Job description

The Kasper Group is an apparel industry leader, offering women wardrobe solutions for wear-to-work and special occasion dressing. Driven by excellence and exceptional talent, The Kasper Group has remained a forerunner in fashion for over 30 years. We are committed to delivering iconic brands (Kasper, Anne Klein, LeSuit, Kenneth Cole), relevant fashions, and trusted quality products to our consumers.

We currently have an opportunity for a Junior Colorist / Color Associate to support the womenโ€™s suit and sportswear businesses. This role is ideal for someone with early experience in womenโ€™s apparel color who is looking to grow within a fast-paced product environment. The position supports the color approval process, maintains seasonal color organization, and partners closely with product development, textiles, and design teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in reviewing lab dips, strike-offs, yarn dyes, and trims to ensure alignment with brand standards
  • Support the preparation of seasonal color approval cards and maintain color libraries and filing systems
  • Track and follow up on samples and approvals with mills, textiles, and product development partners
  • Help maintain color consistency across categories and programs within the collection
  • Organize and prepare color submissions for meetings and internal reviews
  • Assist in documenting comments to mills using accurate color terminology
  • Support troubleshooting of color issues and communicate updates to cross-functional partners
  • Contribute to maintaining seasonal records, swatch libraries, and approval documentation
  • Work closely with senior color and PD teams to ensure timely approvals in a fast-paced calendar
