Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific mental health needs of patients and families in hospice care.
• Provide diverse therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusting approaches according to patient preferences and needs.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring timely updates to patient files.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients in hospice care, who are facing life-limiting illnesses and may experience a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Your role is crucial in providing support, ensuring that both patients and families feel respected, understood, and cared for during an incredibly sensitive time in their lives. You will be instrumental in helping them navigate their feelings, fears, and uncertainties, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services, particularly in a hospice or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for fostering relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
