As an IT Project Manager,you will leadITProjectsfollowing thePMO governance framework. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects on time, within scope and within budget. You will beaccountable, and will own the success of the entire project from approval to administrative closeout.

The roleinvolvesengaging withmulti-disciplinedteam members, executive staff members,businesspartners,andsuppliers. Youmustpossess the ability to promote collaborative decision-making, provide direction and ensure that the team understands key objectives, tasks and timeframes.You must be abletoobjectively evaluate and manage risks to projectobjectives and be comfortable driving difficult discussions andprojectdecisions. The ability to effectively leadthroughambiguity and drive towards clarityleveraging PMO Governance processes is critical for success in the role.

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and successful delivery of multiple IT Projects for Tennant.
• Ensure that project complies with the PMO governance framework, organizational objectives and quality standards.
• Track and report project performance using key performance indicators, including schedule, budget-to-actuals, issues and risks.
• Lead cross-functional project teams successfully through the entire life cycle of the project.
• Manage stakeholders’ expectations and needs ensuring that the defined project scope, delivers on the key objectives and that the execution is controlled in a way that delivers on stated business value.
• Execute project Communication Plans per Tennant PMO processes and specific project needs.
• Actively support and champion the maturation and adoption of the PMO Governance framework.

• The overall leadership and success of the project.
• Project performance as measured by defined metrics including Cost, Scope, Schedule and Quality.
• Building and leading multi-discipline project teams using resources across IT and supporting business functions.
• Coordinating and managing all project documentation as required by the IT process framework including phase gate review materials and presentations.
• Developing and managing comprehensive project plans that ensure delivery of stated project objectives and deliver value to Tennant.
• Communicating all aspects of project status, risks, issues and mitigation plans to a diverse stakeholder group (in a manner that is appropriate to stakeholder needs and in accordance with PMO guidelines).

• Exceptional communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional understanding of project management principles and the project life cycle.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity by applying PMO governance processes to drive clarity and alignment (ensuring successful project execution).
• Exceptional organizational, planning and management skills using industry standard tools and methods.
• Exceptional cross-functional perspective including business functions, IT, engineering, marketing, procurement, sales, and service.
• Knowledge of IT and business process fundamentals.

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
