We are seeking a Canadian Tax Analyst to support the tax compliance of our Canadian operations, contributing to financial accuracy, risk management, and the success of a large-scale organization. This position is based in downtown Montreal and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Prepare tax provisions and tax note disclosures for Canadian legal entities and the consolidated group;
  • Prepare Canadian income tax returns;
  • Prepare reconciliations between tax provisions and prior-year income tax returns ("true-ups");
  • Manage tax compliance obligations and ensure the monitoring of tax accounts and transactions;
  • Support teams and collaborate with tax authorities to resolve various tax matters.
Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Hold a university degree in Accounting;
  • Hold a CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining it;
  • 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting and tax compliance;
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities;
  • Proficiency in commonly used computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Knowledge of Taxprep;
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Longview, an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
