Summary:
The Custodial Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across all assigned facilities. This role involves inspecting custodial services and ensuring compliance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct routine and random inspections of facilities to ensure custodial standards are consistently met or exceeded
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and checklists
  • Monitor performance of custodial staff and provide feedback for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with operations and site managers to improve service delivery
  • Evaluate cleaning products, equipment, and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Prepare and present quality control reports to senior management and clients

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in custodial services, janitorial supervision, or facility management
  • Experience in quality control, inspections, or compliance preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and safety procedures
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed indoors with some potential risks to safety and health hazards.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
