Job description

A specialty healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Orthopedic Surgeon to join one of their practices in Manhattan, with travel to various offices throughout the boroughs.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Setting: 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical interviews and physical examinations to assess patients with joint-related issues
  • Review patients' medical histories and diagnostic tests to make informed decisions about treatment options
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to diagnose joint conditions and determine the extent of damage
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, considering factors like age, overall health, and lifestyle
  • Educate patients about their joint conditions, treatment options, and potential outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
