Small Animal Cardiologist (DVM) - Gig Harbor, WA
An established specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join a collaborative, multi-specialty team in a state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced cardiology in a supportive environment that prioritizes high-quality medicine, teamwork, and continued professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions in small animal patients
  • Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics, including echocardiography
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and emergency clinicians
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses and care plans
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to a strong learning environment
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
  • Board-certified (ACVIM - Cardiology) or residency-trained
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic cardiology skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
