Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Outpatient
Facility: Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center
Address: 1000 Trancas St, Napa, CA 94558
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Monday Friday (Friday shift: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $46/hr (W2) | $49/hr (1099)
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the outpatient rehabilitation team at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in beautiful Napa, CA. This role involves providing therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT and may require coverage of both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for a variety of outpatient diagnoses, including:
    • Post-op orthopedic (TKA, THA, ACL, spinal surgeries)
    • General deconditioning, musculoskeletal pain
    • Neurological disorders (CVA, TBI, Parkinson's)
  • Document care and patient progress using Epic and OASIS
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to adjust plans of care as needed
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive treatment environment
  • Float to like units or nearby facilities as needed
Requirements
  • License: Valid California PTA License (must be active at time of submission)
  • Certifications: Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Experience:
    • Preferred: 1 year of outpatient PTA experience (will consider less)
    • Strongly preferred: OASIS & Epic charting experience
  • Language: Spanish-speaking preferred, not required
  • Travel: Reliable transportation required
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Willingness to float between like units/facilities
