Job Description

Location: NYC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week)

Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B). 

We are seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in FX and eTrading environments and be passionate about working in Front Office teams. If you've worked in Trading environments and like the pace of solving real problems for traders in real time, this role is for you.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day trade support to traders, MO, BO, and risk teams across Orchestrade and IRD
  • Troubleshoot critical desk issues fast, fix trade capture and event processing problems, and keep positions, P&L, and risk clean in the systems
  • Partner with global Tech and Ops teams on strategic projects, bring the business view, test new rollouts, and push existing processes to be better
  • Run reconciliations across systems during upgrades and keep connectivity solid for the desks
  • Ensure platforms admin in relation with system providers, both internal and external

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, CS, or similar
  • Strong understanding of eTrading and exposure to IRD
  • Experience supporting Front Office trading apps, Orchestrade is a plus 
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, Windows
  • Able to talk directly with traders and turn their needs into something Tech can act on
