Key Responsibilities:
- Strong architectural understanding of construction equipment lifecycle management (request → dispatch → telematics → maintenance)Experience with equipment/asset management platforms (e.g., Samsara, Tenna or similar)
- Experience with integrating telematics and IoT integrations
- Ability to architect real-time and batch data pipelines for high-volume equipment telemetry and field data
- Experience designing integration between equipment systems and ERP/PMIS (job costing, equipment rates, utilization, maintenance costs)
- Experience with geospatial data and mapping integrations (GIS alignment, jobsite tracking, geofencing)
- Knowledge of safety and compliance systems (inspections, certifications, operator qualifications, incident tracking)
- Ability to architect cross-platform workflows (equipment dispatch, field requests, maintenance work orders, service history)
- Ability to enforce security, role-based access, and data governance across application platforms
- Vendor/platform evaluation and roadmap ownership across construction operations systems
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 4-6 years of experience as an IT Technical Architect or similar role, or an equivalent combination
- Experience with enterprise-level infrastructure design, security, and performance best practices
- Experience with project management and life cycle management methodologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with IT service management methodologies, such as ITIL
- Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and microservices architecture
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
