Synthesis Systems is looking for a Java Developer for a long-term, contract in Herndon, VA.
** The candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to government contract. Must be able to pass a background investigation. **
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues with a quick turnaround time and communicate root cause and workaround options to team members and clients
Independently resolve system defects to be in-line with system requirements
Design, develop, and unit test new enhancement requests
Technical analysis and documentation of complex functions in the system
Interact with other developers, testers and analysts on release and team initiatives
** The candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to government contract. Must be able to pass a background investigation. **
- Strong Java and J2EE application development experience with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong Communication skills
- Must have ability to analyze requirements and formulate design
- Experience with Spring/Hibernate
- Experience with JDBC and SQL
- Experience with JBoss, Tomcat or Websphere
