POSITION/LEVEL: Project Management Analyst, Development FLSA Status: Exempt

DEPT/OFFICE: Development and Construction DATE: June 2026

JOB SUMMARY AND DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK:


The Project Management Analyst will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid) and will report to the West Coast Director of Development. The Analyst will support project management of Jamestown’s service agreements in the Bay Area. The role is will need to coordinate timely, high quality delivery of deliverables and action items in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative and an independent thinker. Strong experience in market research, consulting and/or real estate project management is a plus.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:


  • We are seeking a Project Management Analyst to join our Development team. This role is ideal for a highly capable and organized professional with 2-5 years of experience in a project management, operations and/or consulting.
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry is preferred.
  • Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support real estate executives in executing master planning, entitlement and real estate transaction objectives
  • Develop and implement process management and improvement
  • Manage internal and external meetings including scheduling, agendas, minutes and action items
  • Create and maintain project management trackers and dashboards
  • Implement and maintain file management systems
  • Draft and present information clearly to stakeholders in deck and memo formats, including developing formats and graphics from scratch
  • Develop executive-level communications and strategy materials
  • Compile and distribute relevant publication, articles and market information
  • Work in collaboration with the team on each project
  • Conduct and synthesize market research on topics such as product types and rent and sales comps
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and other as required for the job


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


Knowledge of:

  • Strong, proactive project management skills
  • Strong market research skills, experience with Costar and other real estate research tools a plus.
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Google equivalents
  • Underwriting, entitlements, and housing and economic development policy

Skill in:

  • Communicating graphic ideas clearly and quickly
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear and concise communicator
