JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for safely transporting material from a clients' location and to an assigned destination for processing or disposal. Performs necessary tasks to load and unload material utilizing commercial trucks and heavy equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered on ELD, Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations, procedures, and rules
2. Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
3. Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the truck/equipment you are operating
4. Operate truck/equipment in a safe manner at all times by performing loading, unloading, and delivery of material to assigned destination
5. Clean truck/equipment before leaving the site 6. 6. Assist with other site needs as assigned. 7. All work local.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
1. Communication skills - verbal and written
2. Ability to back up truck/equipment
3. Ability to memorize routes and follow directions
4. Operate truck/equipment in a safe manner
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
2. Valid Commercial Drivers' License (CDL) Class B.
3. Minimum 6 months commercial driving/heavy or agricultural equipment experience
4. Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years
WORKING REQUIREMENTS
1. Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Lift 75 lbs., Feeling, Talking, Hearing, and Visual
2. The worker is subject to out of doors conditions
4. The worker is subject to conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to heat and cold.
