Purpose:
To assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with community integration and connecting them with local resources.
Qualifications:
- Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work extremely well as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive situations with tact, kindness, and professionalism
Essential Functions:
- Builds and maintains relationships with members of the community.
- Plans, implements, and organizes events and volunteers to advance the mission and goals of the company.
- Organizes community outreach programs.
- Uses social media to coordinate community relations.
- Responds to inquiries from stakeholders.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes special events for the people we support.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
