• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, labor estimates, material pricing, equipment costs, and subcontractor evaluations.
• Review drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and contract documents to ensure complete project scope and estimate accuracy.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and estimate reconciliation meetings.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Produce, manage, and distribute pre-construction RFIs while coordinating with owners, engineers, and design teams.
• Develop project budgets, value engineering recommendations, and buyout strategies.

• Coordinate with Operations, Project Management, Accounting, and Executive Leadership throughout the pre-construction process.
• Assist with project startup activities, contract reviews, change orders, invoices, and project documentation as needed.
• Mentor estimators and support the continued development of pre-construction processes, standards, and best practices.
• Maintain positive client relationships while identifying opportunities to improve project value and execution.
Minimum Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical field experience or project management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, motor controls, instrumentation, conduit, cable tray, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and one-line diagrams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to travel to project sites, client meetings, and vendor locations as required.
