Job description

Role Summary:
The Certified Aviation Structures Mechanic is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining the aircraft's structural components-such as fuselage, wings, flight-surfaces and assemblies-to ensure airworthiness and compliance with engineering and regulatory standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and manufacturer specifications to plan structural work.
• Inspect structural components for damage, corrosion or fatigue; remove and replace or repair parts as required.
• Fabricate, align, assemble and install structural elements (metallic and composite) including panels, ribs, skins and supports using hand tools, power tools and machine tools.
• Drill, rivet, fasten, seal and finish structural assemblies; apply corrosion treatments and non-destructive inspections as needed.
• Ensure all structural maintenance and modifications comply with regulatory standards (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), OEM) and document all work performed.
• Maintain tools, jigs, fixtures and work-areas in safe, efficient condition; coordinate material flow and support production/maintenance schedules.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in aircraft structures, sheet-metal, composites or related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications; strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience working with structural materials (aluminum, titanium, composites), using fabrication and assembly tools.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment-including confined spaces, elevated areas, handling heavy components-and adhere to safety and regulatory protocols.
