Strive Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team as a full-time asset in enhancing patient care within the realm of home healthcare. This position will focus on orthopedic treatments aimed at helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life, encompassing various elements of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence, focusing primarily on home care settings where therapists engage directly with patients in their residences. This role operates within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing team members to maintain work-life balance while dedicating their expertise to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and fulfill each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and quality care.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient care experience to provide informed and effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment programs to enhance movement and mobility.
• Explore and provide non-surgical alternatives, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Craft individual care plans incorporating various treatment techniques to optimize recovery.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based care that reflects the latest best practices, promoting optimal functional outcomes.
• Encourage patients throughout their recovery journey to enhance their physical capabilities and quality of life.
• Promote an active, healthy lifestyle by focusing on core areas like strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, track patient progress, and maintain clear communication regarding care plans.
• Document all patient care services provided, adhering to best practices in record keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role serves a diverse patient population, focusing on individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Working closely with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, the Physical Therapist will have the opportunity to directly impact their lives by facilitating improvements in mobility and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active physical therapy license in California (CAA) with no board actions or disciplinary actions against it.
• Proven manual therapy skills, contributing to effective treatment outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability in developing engaging and effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, with proficient usage documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Background in home care settings is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate patients effectively throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits designed to support your well-being.
