Position Overview

Strength Path Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while also providing the invaluable opportunity to deliver therapy services within an outpatient office facility located in State College, Pennsylvania. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and diagnostics for new clients to identify their needs and determine the appropriate level of care.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other methods, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients facing various mental health challenges.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, documenting all interactions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other staff members and attend regular clinical meetings to discuss case management strategies and contribute to care planning for complex cases.
• Commit to ethical practices by maintaining licensure and engaging in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base encompasses a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults, facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma-related challenges. As an LMFT, you will be essential in providing culturally competent and client-centered care that promotes understanding and recovery. Your experience in supporting diverse populations will enhance our capacity to serve clients from various backgrounds effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling or therapy role, demonstrating a proven track record in delivering effective therapeutic interventions.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Commitment to maintaining cultural competence and providing client-centered care that respects the dignity of every individual.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities beyond CBT, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or mindfulness-based approaches.
• Background in working with specialized populations, including those dealing with trauma or co-occurring disorders.
• Previous experience in teletherapy or online counseling settings, and the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for remote service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
