Step In Hope Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality mental health services to our community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients dealing with various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Offer both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
• Utilize digital platforms to deliver telehealth services, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
• Document clinical interactions meticulously, including progress notes, treatment modifications, and outcomes to track client progress and inform future sessions.
• Engage in regular consultations and collaborative case reviews with the interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on working with a diverse population, including adults and adolescents from varied backgrounds. You will address mental health issues across a spectrum, emphasizing trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive approaches. By building therapeutic relationships grounded in trust and empathy, you are positioned to support clients on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• Active California licensure as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required; however, a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in delivering teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth tech systems and platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• A detail-oriented mindset to ensure precise documentation and effective session management.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience working with telehealth modalities and knowledge of relevant legal requirements.
• Familiarity with community resources and networking within Bakersfield to enhance client care.

Compensation and Benefits
