Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Step By Step Social Work, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals experiencing mental health concerns related to substance abuse.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care and adherence to legal standards.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams to create coordinated care plans that foster comprehensive recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health resources and coping strategies pertinent to substance use.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and integrate relevant findings into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience specifically focused on substance abuse therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
