  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and techniques in mental health by participating in professional development opportunities and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele may include individuals and families facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This position involves working with clients who may have limited access to care, emphasizing the importance of providing compassionate, culturally competent support. As a mental health professional, your insights and expertise will empower clients to navigate their struggles, promoting overall emotional health and resilience.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
  • Solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly advantageous.
  • A history of working with marginalized populations or underserved communities is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Your compensation will range between USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Access to malpractice insurance for peace of mind and professional protection.
  • Opportunities for client referrals to enhance your caseload.
