Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at St. Luke's Behavioral Health in Orlando, Florida. This full-time, remote position is integral to our efforts to support and empower children and families dealing with various challenges, particularly in our Detox Center environment. The LCSW will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the well-being and development of young children and their families.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible, remote work setting, enabling you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. As part of our Detox Center team, you will engage with a variety of specialized programs designed to support children's developmental needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and needs.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), creating tailored support strategies that align with each family's priorities.
• Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of implemented services, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness.
• Engage in direct interactions with families, providing emotional support, education, and resources to facilitate their child’s development.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment approach to deliver effective early interventions.
• Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and team members, fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations and organizational policies to maintain a safe and effective service delivery environment.
• Facilitate family workshops, providing training and strategies that empower families to support their child's development.
• Regularly assess and adjust services based on family feedback and child development status.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with young children, particularly those under the age of three, who may be facing various developmental challenges. As you provide services, you will also engage closely with families, addressing their concerns and equipping them with strategies to support their child's growth effectively. Collaborating with caregivers is essential, as they play a pivotal role in the child’s developmental journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is necessary to facilitate travel as required.
• Proficiency in adapting therapeutic approaches to match diverse learning styles and the needs of each child.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential for maintaining effective interactions and documentation.
• Commitment to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices is crucial.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as language skills can enhance communication with diverse families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is preferred.
• Experience employing the coaching model and natural environment teaching methodologies is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
