Job description

Overview of Support Analyst - Trade Flow Pilot:

  • Coordinate on-boarding and migration of trading flows with technology and business stakeholders
  • Pipe cleaning of new asset classes to be traded in the firm using internal applications and broker/exchanges before the full-scale trading
  • Gatekeep the production environment by reviewing the changes in technology space; Create and maintain internal tools and scripts

Typical Day of Support Analyst:

  • Conduct scheduled pipe cleaning activities with regional trading desks and operations
  • Carry out analysis, planning & execution for any ongoing on boarding, migration projects
  • Analyze and provide feedback on changes going into production wherever gaps are identified, CAB approval
  • Provide assistance to trade floor support, operations and trading desks on any queries raised related to the trading flows

Skill Set Required for Position:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related subject
  • Understanding of the financial domain and different types of asset classes (at least listed ones - Equities & Derivatives)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions
  • Experience working in Linux based environments and proficiency in at least one scripting language

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of trading fundamentals, including market types and asset classes.
  • Python, kdb+/q experience
  • Database experience
