Position Overview

Springville Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns and create effective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, ensuring that each therapeutic approach is customized for the client's specific circumstances.
• Set therapeutic goals with clients and actively monitor their progress throughout their treatment journey.
• Offer teletherapy options to clients who prefer virtual sessions due to personal preferences or accessibility challenges, ensuring that our services are inclusive.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems to comply with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring efficient case management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and peer consultations to enhance clinical skills and stay current with emerging therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds, including children, families, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We strive to create a therapeutic environment that fosters a deep understanding of each client's unique experiences, allowing our therapists to provide tailored support and interventions.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude when addressing clients' varied experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills that facilitate effective management of caseload and associated administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing teletherapy or virtual counseling services.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse patient population, including various cultural backgrounds and clinical presentations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, based on caseload and experience.
• A one-time sign-on bonus of $3,000 for newly hired licensed therapists.
