Position Overview

Springville Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds a valid LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW designation for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individuals’ unique experiences.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to address specific client concerns.
  • Continuously monitor client progress towards therapeutic goals and adjust treatment approaches accordingly, ensuring a responsive and effective treatment journey.
  • Offer teletherapy options for clients who prefer virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility for those who may have difficulty attending in-person appointments.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of client sessions and treatment outcomes in compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, contributing to the enhancement of clinical skills and adoption of innovative practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will encompass individuals dealing with a diverse range of mental health challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will also have the opportunity to engage with clients from various backgrounds, allowing for a rich and fulfilling therapeutic experience.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusted therapeutic relationship with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a clinical practice setting, particularly with diverse populations and mental health conditions.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques to effectively engage clients remotely.
  • Commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity in counseling practices.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
