Description NOW HIRING: Certified Med Tech - Join Our Caring Team! Location: Orlando, FL 32837 Position Type: Part-Time Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm About Us: At Spring Hills Hunters Creek, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and nurturing environment for our senior residents. Our dedicated team plays a vital role in enhancing their quality of life, and we are looking for compassionate Certified Med Techs to join us in making a difference. If you're passionate about providing care and want to be part of a family-oriented team, we want to meet you! Position Overview for Certified Med Tech: We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Certified Med Techs to assist our residents with their daily living activities while ensuring their medical needs are met. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a heart for service, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities as a Certified Med Tech:
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents according to their service plans and monitor for any side effects.
  • Personal Care Support: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Documentation: Accurately document residents' health statuses and any changes, adhering to community standards and regulations.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional and social support to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and community standards to ensure the well-being of residents.
Desired Characteristics as a Certified Med Tech:
  • Passionate About Care: A genuine desire to improve residents' lives through compassionate service.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a supportive environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail, especially in following care plans and documentation.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, relevant experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Med Tech required.
  • Must be able to obtain any required food handling and sanitation certifications.
