Shipping Clerk

Location: San Jose, CA
Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $21–$23/hr

Job Overview

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping and inventory operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, electronics, EMS, or a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders
  • Enter and maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
  • Track shipments and prepare shipping documentation
  • Handle small electronic components and production materials with care
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock control
  • Use MRP and inventory systems to track materials and shipments
  • Work with production and logistics teams
  • Report damaged materials or shipment discrepancies
  • Follow safety procedures and workplace standards

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of shipping experience preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, electronics, EMS, or technology preferred
  • EMS experience is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling small components
  • Good data-entry and communication skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and dependable
