The Speech and Language Pathologist reports directly to the Speech/Language Principal. This position is responsible for developing student's individual communication programs. The Speech and Language Pathologist communicates positively and effectively with all program staff, as well as manage and work with children both within and outside of the traditional setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
A master's degree with Virginia State Licensure as a Speech Pathologist. Experience in communication and speech/language programming, teacher/parent consultation and speech and language assessment is required. Must have the physical ability to effectively work with students with challenging behavior.
