Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible work environment, primarily focused on remote service delivery through telehealth platforms, as well as the option for in-person sessions when required. You will be a part of a progressive community health clinic that embraces a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to client care. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized therapy strategies by conducting thorough assessments and evaluations tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approaches based on client presentations and goals.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address various client concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation of clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health practices and research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse communities within Modesto and surrounding areas, working with clients across various demographics including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will address a wide array of mental health issues, enhancing your ability to cater services to clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LPCC license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling practice.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards relevant to clinical practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a community health or integrated care setting is advantageous.
  • Adeptness in using telehealth technology for service delivery and engagement.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a lucrative bonus structure to reward your efforts in client care. You will also receive a sign-on bonus as an immediate incentive on joining our team.
