Job description

Join a dynamic team and become the next Emergency Medicine Physician in Greenfield, OH.

Sound Physicians is a physician-founded and led, patient-first medical group grounded in one belief: better support for clinicians leads to better care for patients. Our emergency medicine teams are empowered to lead care locally with the backing of a strong national network committed to clinical excellence, intentional leadership development, and collaborative partnership. Here, you’ll practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care—creating smoother transitions, stronger accountability, and better outcomes for the communities we serve.

If you’re looking for a place where your clinical judgment is valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference, we’d love to talk.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians at Adena Greenfield.
  • Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
  • Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Active Medical license or eligible to become licensed in Ohio.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available.
  • Our emergency department provides single doctor coverage with 24-hour shifts available (9a-9p; 9p-9a).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-quality care to a rural emergency department seeing 8,500 patients annually.
  • Foster collaboration and support among team members.
  • Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus.
  • Utilize advanced medical technology and handle transfers through the Covenant Transfer Center.
  • Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

Living and Working in Greenfield, OH:

  • Living and working in Greenfield, Ohio, offers a great balance of small-town charm and access to bigger-city opportunities. You get a quieter, more relaxed pace of life while still being within easy driving distance of Columbus and Cincinnati—both about an hour to an hour and a half away. That means you can enjoy local community connections, lower cost of living, and less congestion day-to-day, while still having convenient access to major healthcare systems, cultural events, dining, and professional networking in the larger metro areas when you need it.

Rewards and Compensation:

·      Compensation: Hourly 1099 compensation is $240 for days and $250 nights.

·      Paid malpractice with tail coverage.
