Work Environment

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while still being an integral part of our outpatient office framework. We emphasize a collaborative atmosphere in which mental health professionals work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to devise and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans for clients to address their mental health needs and challenges, ensuring the use of evidence-based practices.
• Engage in consultation with clinical teams to develop pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation that complies with regulatory standards, supporting transparency and accountability in our service delivery.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based screening tools and techniques to facilitate effective treatment and measure progress.
• Collaborate with various programs to implement and monitor positive behavior support plans enhancing client outcomes.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure the continued high quality of our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors provide services to a diverse population, including individuals experiencing mental health issues, substance use challenges, and developmental disabilities. Our approach is holistic, focusing not only on rehabilitation but also on creating pathways for independence and community integration.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is required.
• Eligibility for licensure by the state of New York.
• A valid driver's license in good standing is necessary for potential outreach requirements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport and trust quickly with clients.
• A strong ability to listen empathetically while guiding clients toward their goals.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage documentation and treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in community mental health settings or outpatient services is highly valued.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and practice in crisis intervention techniques.
• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $70,000 and $100,000 annually, along with an attractive sign-on bonus. In addition to the base salary, employees can earn monthly productivity bonuses, incentivizing outstanding service delivery.
