Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a seamless work-life balance while serving families in Sacramento, California. As an LCSW with Solaris, you will be part of a dynamic team that utilizes telehealth platforms and digital tools to conduct assessments and implement care strategies. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to determine their developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's unique situation.
  • Monitor and document progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation of care plans.
  • Provide direct support to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources to support their child's development.
  • Stay informed about federal and state regulations to guarantee compliance and uphold best practices in service delivery.
  • Utilize empathetic communication to build rapport with children and families, contributing to a nurturing and safe learning environment.
  • Leverage technology and data-driven insights to enhance evaluation processes and outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role predominantly focuses on supporting babies and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, especially those who may be experiencing challenges in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By targeting early intervention, our LCSWs play a crucial role in empowering families and reducing long-term developmental hurdles.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, as recognized by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate some in-person engagements, as needed.
  • Demonstrated experience in adapting to various learning styles to effectively meet developmental needs.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with children in early intervention or similar settings.
  • Knowledge and commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, integrating therapy with natural settings to enhance learning experiences.
  • Experience with telehealth practices and remote service delivery is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include a signing bonus, generous paid time off, sick leave, flexible scheduling options, and referral bonuses to recognize employee contributions.
