Job description

The President provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership across campus. The VCS President reports to the President of SSMO Ministries Corporation and the Board of Directors. The VCS President will guide the long-term vision, ensure organizational excellence, and foster a strong, faith-filled community rooted in the charism of the Sisters of St.

Responsibilities: Champion and actively support the mission, values, and vision of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon. Lead and oversee all school operations (PreK, Elementary, Middle, High School programs), ensuring alignment with strategic and mission-driven goals.

Provide strong financial stewardship, including oversight of budgeting and long-term planning. Partner with the Board of Directors and leadership team to drive organizational success. Identify opportunities to strengthen programs while improving operational efficiency.

Lead capital projects and support future growth and development initiatives. Foster a collaborative, faith-centered culture across the campus. Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field required.

Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in Catholic or faith-based education. Demonstrated success in organizational leadership, financial management, and strategic planning. A practicing Catholic in good standing, actively engaged in the sacramental life of the Church.

A visionary and strategic leader with a passion for faith-based education. An experienced executive with strong financial and operational expertise. A collaborative leader who builds trust with boards, staff, and community stakeholders.

A thoughtful decision-maker with excellent communication and leadership skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, walk across campus and potentially occasional travel. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and twist.

Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry light to moderate amount of weight up to 25 lbs. Working primary in an office setting, but also navigating the campus environment. Sufficient hearing and speaking abilities to exchange information through multiple media sources including in person.
