Job description

Purpose of the Position
Designs and configures cloud-based software from user requirement. Advances Simmons Foods information management capabilities through meeting the needs of the various business units for major applications, including their design, development, deployment, and continual maintenance. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementations, preferably Oracle CX.
Essential Position Responsibilities - This is a Salary Exempt Position
Cloud Development: Subject matter expert in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) cloud configuration, deployment, functionality, and support of Simmons Foods business solutions. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to configure, implement, and maintain ERP application interfaces and modules; including integrations with internal and external systems. Drives ERP projects and activities and works closely with business and administrative staff to automate, streamline and optimize business processes and solve business challenges, leveraging knowledge of the ERP Cloud architecture. Experience implementing any of the following modules: Oracle Supply Chain and Demand Planning Cloud, Sales Cloud, Accounting and Finance Cloud, EAM Cloud, Inventory Cloud, etc. This position also allows for hands-on experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud with external systems.
Manages Software: Develops path forward for legacy systems and plans for migration from depreciated standards to current. Coordinate with senior management, architects, and development staff for deployment of and patching of software and systems. Continuously advance expertise in Cloud architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data load procedures. May be responsible for supporting the integration of applications to the 3rd party applications.
Provides end-user assistanceExpert-level functional analysis and day-to-day user support. Defines new ways to increase internal client satisfaction and improve internal working relationships. Defines functional training and highly technical user support as needed. Guides end users through change management, as appropriate. Quickly recognizes issues and performs the steps needed to solve the issue as quickly and effectively as possible. Introduces best practices and improvement ideas where appropriate. Participates in After Action Review with IT team to document resolution and what was learned for future reference.
Evaluates Business processes and participates in IT strategic planning: Analyze business and system processes and suggests process improvements using business systems applications and tools. Participates in IT road map development for future systems, upgrades, IT standards, resource allocation, tech modernization, and budgeting.
Stays current with emerging technologies balanced with plant requirements:
Plans configuration of modules to meet business objectives. Helps develop plans to support implementations and upgrades. Seeks ways to increase technical capabilities and grow with ever changing technology.
Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in the ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization. Understands the concept of agile development and applies an agile mindset.
Technical Experience: 5 - 7 years applicable functional software experience based on specific appended focus or relative education combined with 3 years cloud experience (Oracle ERP Cloud preferred). Knowledge of software development standards, Test and Production environments, testing models, error tracking, development, integrations, and application lifecycles. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Understanding Agile project development is helpful. Strong verbal and written skills. Implementation and support of Oracle packaged solutions, including but not limited to: Fusion, JD Edwards, or Oracle EBS.
Preferred Technical Experience: This individual will serve as the primary subject matter expert for CRM technology, driving the deployment of Oracle CX Sales Cloud and related modules while advancing Simmons Foods' information management capabilities across business units. Oracle CX Sales Cloud certification or CRM implementation experience (Oracle CX Sales Cloud strongly preferred; Salesforce, SAP CX, or Microsoft Dynamics also considered). Experience with Oracle Demand Management Cloud or Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud. Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to at least one full-cycle CRM implementation (requirements through go-live). Experience configuring Oracle CX Sales Cloud modules: accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, forecasting, activities, and/or service request management.
Industry Experience: Experience in the Manufacturing sector, Food processing preferred.
Minimum Education: 4-year college degree, preferably in computer science, or a minimum of 4 years of related functional experience in software development, SDLCs, integrations, and deployment.
