Position Summary

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business operations. This role will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations
  • Build and maintain data models and data structures for analytics and reporting
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Integrate data from various sources including APIs, databases, and third-party systems
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Modelers to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Support data warehousing and data lake solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
  • Maintain documentation for data processes, pipelines, and architecture
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data development or data engineering
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, dbt, or similar)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
  • Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) is an advantage
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP – e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Experience with API integrations and data ingestion frameworks
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Domain experience in HealthCare
  • Familiarity with HL7/FHIR or other integration standards (if applicable)
