Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct client sessions from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health status, identifying their unique challenges and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to the client’s condition, goals, and preferences.

• Facilitate weekly individual counseling sessions, helping clients navigate issues related to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

• Employ therapeutic modalities suitable for various mental health disorders, fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to express themselves.

• Provide timely updates and referrals to other healthcare professionals, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care and support.

• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in the EHR system, ensuring that all treatment plans and progress notes comply with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The population we serve includes individuals from various backgrounds, experiencing diverse mental health challenges. Our clients may include those struggling with anxiety disorders, relationship issues, behavioral problems, substance abuse, and other psychological conditions. As a mental health counselor, you will have the opportunity to support clients of different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences, utilizing culturally responsive approaches in your treatment plans.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) to practice as a mental health professional.

• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience working with diverse populations and mental health issues.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions using culturally inclusive methodologies.

• Proven crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trusting rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

• A collaborative spirit, enabling effective teamwork with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
