Full-Time Nuclear Radiologist Opportunity
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group (SRSMG) - San Diego, CA
Position Overview
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiologist with dedicated training in Nuclear Medicine to join our collaborative, physician-led outpatient imaging practice. 2027 Nuclear Medicine fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply.
Join a well-established and collegial group of 19 radiologists providing high-quality, patient-centered imaging services across San Diego County. Close collaboration with referring specialties within an integrated medical group.
Practice Highlights: Lifestyle Without Tradeoffs
  • 100% outpatient imaging with a strong and growing nuclear medicine and molecular imaging program - no weekends, evenings, or holidays
  • Flexible scheduling:
    • 4-day workweek (Monday-Friday): 1 dedicated remote/teleradiology day per week
    • Full-time = 34 hours/week
While some practices offer higher nominal vacation blocks, Sharp Rees-Stealy provides a truly sustainable outpatient model with:

Compensation & Benefits
  • Total Compensation range (salary + bonuses/incentives): $500,000-$590,000 with internal moonlighting opportunity for increased income to greater than $650,000 annually
  • Sign-on bonus

    • Pension plans + 401(k)
    • 2-year shareholder track
  • PSLF-eligibility
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiology (board certification required within the first 2 years of employment)

The posted compensation range reflects the anticipated salary or compensation range for this position, as required by applicable state law. Actual total compensation may be higher and can include additional earnings such as productivity incentives, quality and performance bonuses, hospital/call stipends, extra shift pay, and other compensation components, where applicable. Providers may also be eligible for a CME allowance and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
