Work Environment

This role is structured as a remote position, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving clients effectively. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s history and unique experiences.
• Develop tailored treatment plans through evidence-based approaches suited to individual patient needs, considering their cultural backgrounds.
• Deliver various therapeutic modalities including individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing clients’ mental health challenges and fostering resilience.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for every patient.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and effective management strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Engage actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to strengthen skills and share expertise across the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, methodologies, and cultural considerations in mental health practice to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, complemented by a commitment to cultural competence.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions, particularly for diverse, multicultural populations.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven record of building rapport and trust with diverse clients.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and familiarity with necessary computer applications.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications are paramount, candidates with additional experience in integrated care settings or those who have worked with specific population groups, such as LGBTQ+ individuals, will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive healthcare benefits package.
