Seneca Foods is one of North America's leading providers of packaged fruits and vegetables with facilities located throughout the United States.  Our high quality products are primarily sourced from over 1,400 American farms. Seneca holds the largest share of the retail private label, food service, and export canned vegetable markets, distributing to over 90 countries. Products are also sold under the brands of Libby's, Aunt Nellie's, READ, Seneca Farms, Green Valley, Green Giant (Shelf-Stable), CherryMan, Paradise, Pennant, and Seneca labels, including Seneca snack chips. Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.

Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI  is currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator that will focus their time in the Label/Poly area. 

The ideal candidate must be able to use a high degree of initiative and independent judgement.  This position requires technical knowledge of the specialized area and knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures.  This position requires the ability to prepare and analyze requirements and forecasts, technical specifications, excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain highly effective working relationships. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create purchase orders from requirements and/or forecasts.
  • Confer with vendors to obtain service information such as availability and delivery schedules.
  • Run and analyze reports to determine needs.
  • Expedite delivery of goods to users.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel.
  • Knowledge usually acquired through four years of high school. Additional courses in business preferred.
  • 4 years relevant work experience.
