Position Overview

Safe Talk Counseling is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client's mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.
• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to clients' needs.
• Apply specialized therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients achieve healing and personal growth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, to create cohesive, client-focused treatment plans that foster integration of services.
• Lead engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to promote community and enhance the therapeutic process.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies, conducting risk assessments and safety planning as necessary to safeguard clients' welfare.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Safe Talk Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families from varying backgrounds and life experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by our clients and the cultural sensitivities necessary for effective therapy. You will help them navigate issues related to relationship dynamics, mental health disorders, grief, and crisis situations, fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on empathetic and effective client interaction.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy best practices is advantageous.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, paired with performance-based bonuses.
