Safe Talk Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Family Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Trauma-Focused Therapy, creating a secure environment for healing.
  • Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans, which include setting measurable goals and interventions to guide treatment.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and efficient client care.
  • Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes to cultivate supportive peer connections among clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in adherence to ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals, couples, and families facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Clients at Safe Talk Counseling come from varied backgrounds and experiences, providing a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences to enrich the therapeutic process. Your role will involve adapting your therapeutic strategies to best meet the diverse needs of this clientele.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Three or more years of experience in a mental health outpatient setting, with a proven track record of providing effective therapy.
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and clinical practice.
Compensation and Benefits
