Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of clients’ emotional and behavioral challenges, formulating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Engage with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to report on patient progress, outlining needs and addressing concerns collaboratively.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment reports, adhering to departmental policies and state regulations.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions that address psychosocial issues, providing not just counseling, but actionable strategies that support emotional growth.
  • Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing established protocols to ensure safety and effective support.
  • Facilitate family consultations to foster understanding and collaboration within clients’ support systems, focusing on treatment goals and discharge planning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and trauma. Your expertise will be essential in developing personalized strategies that resonate with each client, considering their unique circumstances and cultural frameworks. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey, promoting resilience and long-term well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Active LMFT license in the state of Oregon.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in providing therapeutic services.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining a focus on quality care.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health clinic setting, with specific knowledge about local resources and services.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.
  • Skills in conducting group therapy sessions or workshops.
  • Experience using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
