SSM Health Medical Group First Responder and Community Health Physician (Full-Time, Outpatient)

SSM Health Executive Health provides:

  • Annual first responder physicals (serving >75% of fire departments and paramedics in the metro area) 
  • Immigration physicals (immigrants seeking their visa)

How the schedule flows:

  • First responders: crews scheduled in 3–4 hour blocks, including comprehensive testing, fitness evaluations, and physician consultation
  • Physicians alternate scheduled days between three offices during the week: SSM Health DePaul Hospital, SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Fenton, and Wentzville 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform annual first responder physicals, including review of testing, fitness evaluation results, and physician consultation
  • Conduct immigration physicals for immigrants seeking visa requirements 

Qualifications:

  • Board eligible/board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or aligned training/experience)
  • Required: Obtain CDL and Civil Servant certifications expenses reimbursed by the practice
