The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the Section of Neuropathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for the performance of neuropathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the school's 650-bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Neuropathology team, consulting with clinical staff, and will be an active participant in the Department's educational programs, including teaching medical students and residents, and will be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition, participation on the autopsy service will be required. Subspecialty expertise in an area of surgical pathology, such as head and neck pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, breast pathology, thoracic pathology, pediatric pathology, genitourinary pathology, etc., as well as willingness to sign out general surgical pathology cases, is desirable but not required.
