Assistant/Associate Professor, Family Medicine Physician - Rowan-Virtua SOM
Job no: 501157
Work type: Regular Full-Time
Location: Sewell, New Jersey
Categories: Faculty - School of Osteopathic Medicine
Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a full-time family medicine physician to join the Department of Family Medicine. In support of SOM's mission and vision, the selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at one or more of the outpatient clinical offices located in the Southern New Jersey area. The candidate will hold an academic title and have an active role in the training and education of medical students, interns, residents, and fellows. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in faculty development. Highlights include:

The selected candidate must hold the following:
  • Valid NJ Medical License
  • CDS
  • DEA
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Our main clinical campus is located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately 8 miles from Philadelphia, 1 hour from the Atlantic Ocean and 2 hours from New York City.
Salary:
In compliance with the State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $190,000 to $220,000. Placement into the range is determined by the candidate's qualifications, professional experience and other factors.

For eligible employees, benefits include comprehensive NJ state health, dental and retirement benefits, extensive accrued time off/paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement for employee, spouse, and dependents attending Rowan University, Glassboro. (Tuition reimbursement will apply to undergraduate degrees only for spouse and dependents).
