Deep Root Counseling is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand individual client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans for effective therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize clinically proven methodologies to implement therapeutic options that promote positive outcomes for patients, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused strategies.
• Maintain precise and secure patient records, ensuring confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations, and continually update documentation as patient progress is monitored.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including other social workers, medical professionals, and psychiatric experts, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and legal changes in the field of social work and mental health, integrating new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Deep Root Counseling, you will primarily work with clients who are navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, and depression. Our patient demographic is diverse, which allows you to expand your therapeutic skills and make impactful contributions across a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Required to hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, with a focus on empathy and problem-solving.
• Able to thrive in a collaborative virtual team environment while managing your caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for trauma, anxiety, and depression.
• Previous experience with remote telehealth practices is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
