Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health conditions, including their past history and current issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific client goals, fostering an environment conducive to healing and personal growth.
  • Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions with adults using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques.
  • Extend your therapeutic reach through teletherapy options, ensuring that clients who might face barriers to in-person sessions maintain access to care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services for clients experiencing urgent mental health crises with a compassionate and effective approach.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, training, and staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many clients have diverse backgrounds, and you will work with individuals from varying socio-economic statuses, making cultural competence vital in your approach.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A completed master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with clients, encouraging open and meaningful dialogue.
  • A compassionate and non-judgmental mindset essential for supporting clients in their mental health journeys.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to efficiently manage a diverse caseload and meet administrative requirements.
  • A clean disciplinary history with the licensing board.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a clinical setting, specifically working with adult populations, is preferred though not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology for teletherapy and digital record-keeping enhances the efficiency of therapy delivery.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies specific to mental health counseling.
